Reversed Moon Shape

I noticed the Moon today and something felt weird.

I stopped and kept looking at it while trying to remember have I ever seen it as a boat shape before?

I realized how I never even thought about how the same phase of the moon looks different, reversed up/dn(!) when seen from Northern vs Southern hemispheres or being, like I’m now, at the south of the equator where it isn’t C nor D shape. It’s a little tiny long boat shape. (U)

Even the Moon looks different here. What can I say….
